Odds’n'Ends – Links Edition

1. In case you missed it, I was probably way more excited than I should be to appear on a This Week in Tweets list over at Everybody Loves You. You’ll have to surf over there to find out which link FINALLY got me on the list but let’s just say that every time Alex favorites one of my tweets I get totally giddy thinking that I might make the list. Entire days go by when I’m specifically tweeting for Alex. If I tweet that, will it get me on the list a second time?

2. It’s the annual Day of Giving in Pittsburgh – anything you donate today to your favorite Western PA charities will be matched dollar for dollar by the Pittsburgh Foundation. As of the writing of this blog, nearly $4.4 million has been donated. Pittsburghers rock!!!

3. A Twitter peep and fellow Pittsburgher Adam Causgrove is in the running for the Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year. Vote for Adam and bring this award to the Burgh!!!

4. An excerpt from my book is up over at The Holiday Cafe along with the artwork, poetry and prose of their 3rd issue. Check out the issue and if you are interested in submitting a piece of your own you can do so by e-mailing Nicole.Leckenby@TheHolidayCafe.com. And in case you missed it, this summer The Holiday Cafe also published a little short story of mine that I’m pretty proud of called Girls Like Us.
