The reason I’m posting this video is because there is a lot of parking news in da Burgh right now. But seriously, before we delve into that, if you haven’t already stopped and watched this fine piece of video, please do so now. It is amazing.
Did you see those red leather pants? And all the jeri curl? I get it if you have to pinch yourself now because you think you have died and gone to funk heaven. Yowza.
But I digress. Back to parking. The parking crackdown on the South Side continued this weekend and city cops got to write a whole lot of citations. I bet their writin’ hands is all cramped up, man.
Also, in good news for those who use public parking, Steelerstahl’s plan to lease out parking to a private company has been abandoned so nobody will have to sell a kidney to park downtown now. Yay! Wait, is it just me or is the only thing that Steelerstahl really does as mayor is to come up with ridiculous schemes that EVERYBODY is opposed to and then abandon them at the last minute and be all, “Let’s move on and face the real issues”? WHY IS SOMEBODY NOT WRITING A SITCOM ABOUT HIM?
